This is a VERY OLD three piece solid brass safety razor from The Gillette Company in its original purple cloth lined metal case. The outside is covered with what appears to be a leather like material and somewhat worn due to its extreme age. ?Gillette? is on the lower left corner although very faint.

The razor itself is solid brass throughout with nice knurling on the body and bottom and is in extremely nice and usable condition. It features an old design for blade replacement which is accomplished by holding the head and turning the body to loosen or tighten. The threads are good and everything tightens solidly. I did find a small very slight crack in the handle but you must look closely to see it and it has no bearing on the look, feel or function. The underside of the blade guard is stamped with the Gillette logo and ?Made in USA.?.

Included are 22 new vintage double edged blades from a variety of manufacturers as listed below. Note the two red and black ?Thin Gillette Blade? paper wrappers are empty.

VINTAGE DOUBLE EDGE BLADES INCLUDED (new oem):
? Fam - 3
? PAL ? 11
? PERSONNA Precision ? 4
? Smith ? 1
? STAR ? 3
Total ? 22 blades

This would be a stupendous addition to any man?s repertoire of shaving paraphernalia whether for collecting purposes or daily use.

Dimensions:
? 3 15/16? long
? 1 7/8? wide
? ¾? thick

This is a nice looking stein, stamped ?Hand Painted Japan? on the bottom. It is fairly lightweight and shows subtle crazing. This item must be quite old since my grandparents had it for years. Slight chip in bottom.

Dimensions:
? 6 3/4? H
? 5 1/4? W including handle

Shipping depends on your location. I am always happy to combine shipping, so please convo me with any requests or questions.

Rare National Olympic Committee (NOC) pins from 1984 collection.

I had the great pleasure and privilege of carrying the Olympic Torch in 1984. Among other wonderful memories of the games, including working at the Velodrome and sitting with the athletes during the Closing Ceremonies ? ah, but that?s another story ...

Anyway I was able to obtain a number of National Olympic Committee (NOC) pins (undated) from various countries. I have had these since 1984 but as I have a few duplicates it seems now would be a good time to share them with others.

These pins from various countries are all uniquely beautiful, some are absolutely stunning and many, if not most, may be quite rare as far as I know. Note these are all National Olympic Committee (NOC) pins, not individual sports pins, sponsor pins, media pins or the like.

This particular item is an Olympic NOC pin from Qatar. It is unused, in like new condition as I received it from their National Olympic Committee (or their representative). It has a safety pin clasp back type fastener and measures approximately 7/8? in diamater. Back is stamped ?J. BALME FRANCE?. This pin is exquisite, definitely the nicest in my collection. The quality and craftmanship are impressive. This beautiful cloissone pin features blue, white and brown on gold with the lettering ?Qatar Olympic Mission Los Angeles?.

I currently have Olympic NOC pins available from the following countries:

Andorra
Cameroun
Central African Republic
Congo (Republique du Congo)
Gabon
Ivory Coast (Cote d?Ivoire)
Lesotho
Madagascar
Mali
Mauritania (rectangle)
Mauritania (shield)
Mozambique
Niger
Nigeria
Oman
Qatar
Spain
Upper Volta (Republique de Haute-Volta)
Yemen
Zaire

I am happy to combine pins or other items for a special listing. Feel free to contact me to discuss any special needs you may have.

This was originally a Smith and Barnes Cabinet Grand Antique Upright Piano, Serial number 67908 built in 1905. As an instrument it was not worthy of restoration but I saw value in upcycling it and so converted it into a magnificent display aquarium of about 100 gallon capacity. The cabinet features a rich satin mahogany wood professionally refinished, nickel hardware and new keytops. The tank is professionally constructed of 3/8? glass.

The top folds back for feeding and is also entirely removable for better access. When necessary for major overhauls, moving, etc. the glass aquarium itself is completely removable by sliding it out the front.

This piece was operational with live fish for several years in a prominent piano retail store in the Los Angeles area and was featured on the local ABC television affiliate.

Some of the used equipment remains inside, including heavy duty electrical. The top is fitted with fluorescent lighting but you may wish to upgrade it along with whatever equipment you choose to complete the system ? it is suitable for either fresh or salt water. Since the tank has been sitting empty for a while, I recommend you test the tank for seal integrity, but it never leaked while in use. (Once again, the glass is not brand new ? there are scratches.)

So you want to know if you can still play the piano, right? The action has been removed, of course, but yes you can! I installed a Gulbransen KS5 Midi Adaptor with a keystrip under the keys and weighted the keys. While this unit is itself vintage it still works (except for perhaps the top five notes). All you need is your choice of sound module and speakers. With the speakers separate from the aquarium, the fish should be happy in their environment while you enjoy the music and the peaceful view.

Tank Dimensions:
? 60? wide
? 24? high
? 15? deep (front to back)

Overall Dimensions:
? 62? wide, 69? high, 31? deep (front to back)

Weight: 200-300 pounds empty (rough estimate)

Shipping:
It is not as heavy as a complete piano but is still of considerable weight and taller than original. For this reason, a local delivery would be easier and less expensive. However, cross country delivery is certainly possible and I can help with such arrangements. Sorry, no international shipping on this item. Selling price is as is, where is.

If you are in the Southern California area, you are welcome to visit and see this one of a kind piece as a potential addition to your home décor. By all means, convo me with any questions.

This rare curiosity is a flashlight and midget vacuum cleaner all in one. Constructed of a gray heavy duty plastic or bakelite, the handle holds 2 D cell batteries (not included) and features the flashlight on one side of the head and the vacuum brush on the other. The chrome switch on the handle has three positions: Off, Light and Brush.

The vacuum/fan works fine. The light does not come on but I suspect a bad bulb. This retro beauty truly appears to have never been used. The original red and white box features multiple uses on either side for clothes and auto upholstery and does show some age. Has a handy hook on the side for hanging on a workbench or perhaps a belt.

Flashlight Dimensions:
? 7 3/4? long
? 4 3/4? wide (brush/flashlight assembly)

Box Dimensions:
? 7 3/4? high
? 4 3/4? wide
? 2 1/4? deep

This plastic collapsible cup features a translucent faux marble look in red. It was a promotional item for a printing company in Long Beach, California as is obvious from the printing on the top of the lid. You can tell by the phone number it is from an earlier era.

Compact, simple to use and reusable, it offers a nice alternative to paper cups for hot or cold drinks. Very nice condition, suitable for use or simply to display it?s vintage appeal. A bit whimsical.

Dimensions:
? 2 1/4? diameter
? 7/8? thick
? stands 2 3/4? tall

This exquisite bowl features patterns around the rim and on the bottom as well as wonderful details of a leaf pattern in the center. The entire surface of the bowl is textured. Highlights of light and dark show off the detail extremely well.

This piece would serve to hold small items but you may rather display it for its own unique beauty and design.

Dimensions:
? 8? diameter
? 1 3/4? high

This is NOS (New Old Stock) from my workshop stock, well aged, at least thirty years old but never used. I have a number of pieces available in varying designs, sizes, shapes and wood types. The manufacturer is Constantine?s, founded in 1812 and long established in New York, but more recently located to Florida.

This piece features a lovely flower arrangement in a classic vase or urn in multiple woods and colors. The background wood is walnut. The paper backing on the face remains intact. (The design seen in the picture is the back ? the face of the inlay is protected by the paper backing.) The aging process has allowed slight warping to develop which can be corrected before applying to work piece. May be used as inlay or overlay. This is a rare design no longer available from the manufacturer.

Measurements (approximate):
? 4 1/8? wide
? 4 1/8? high

I have a limited supply of pieces available. See my other listings or contact me for more information (not all available pieces are listed).

I am always happy to combine shipping, so please convo me with any requests or questions.
