Large, simple open heart hoop earrings in sterling silver are a wonderful treat for you or your special love on Valentine's Day, for your Anniversary day or even as a Bridesmaid's gift!

~INFO AT-A-GLANCE~
? Name: Open Heart (large)
? Type: earrings (hoops), made-to-order
? Materials: 18g AWG (1mm) sterling silver
? Finish: oxidized or shiny satin
? Length: 2" x 2" (5.1cm x 5.1cm)

Each contemporary hoop pair is handmade just for you when you order. I lovingly cut, shape, hammer and finish each one by hand out of 18g (1mm) sterling silver wire.

Classically elegant, these hoops are easy to wear and lightweight. I used a thicker than usual wire for durability so that they will hold their shape. This gives them a little bit more heft than your average hoops though they aren't heavy at all. The ends have been softly rounded for style and convenience...no one likes getting pricked! They are finally tumbled for added strength and shine. I left my pair with a shiny satin finish but you can order your pair oxidized if that's your wish. Please see the pull-down menu under the price to order the finish that you absolutely mad for!

Because these are made-to-order and forged by hand, there may be slight variances between the photos and your special pair. Please account for 1-3 business days for your order to be created and shipped out.

The last photo shows the earrings on a life-sized facial print to give you an idea of their size when worn.

Please see my shop policies for information on payment and shipping.

Airy and delicate in appearance but sturdy in design, this variable length, multistrand gemstone beaded necklace has a touch of color in a mostly neutral setting. Amethyst, Smokey & Clear Quartz, Pyrite, Freshwater Pearls and rich purple Czech Glass beads have been hung on black beading wire to create separation. Sterling silver details provide contrast to the inky black tones in the satin ribbon.

~INFO AT-A-GLANCE~
? Name: Zephyr
? Type: necklace (ribbon closure)
? Materials: Amethyst, Smokey & Clear Quartz, Pyrite, Freshwater Pearls, Czech Glass, beading wire, satin ribbon, sterling silver
? Length (end to end of ribbon): 59" (149.9cm)
Length & width of multistrand section: 7.5" x 4.8" (19.1cm x 12.2cm)

I was inspired by a fellow jewelry designer when I saw the ribbon closure one of her pieces boasted. I spent some time trying to think of an interesting way to showcase the ribbon while still making gemstone beads the focal point. This is the result! Dissatisfied with the run-of-the-mill ribbon ends available commercially. I used this piece as my starting point into metalsmithing. The sterling silver ends were carefully cut and shaped from 18g (1mm) sheet to mimic the curve made by the beaded strands and finally polished to a satin finish. I used sterling crimps to compliment the end pieces and to contrast against the black beading wire. The ribbon ends have been treated with a fray stopper to keep them looking wonderful.

The fun of this necklace is its versatility. You can wear this at whatever length you desire from collar to rope and everything in between. The sterling ends and variety of gemstone beads make this piece absolutely unique and the subtle blacks, browns, greys and creams are set against a variety of purples for a touch of color. The piece definitely makes a statement but without being over-sized or chunky. This would look great against a classic black suit or with a pair of skinnies and a floaty, feminine high-low blouse perfect for that first date or girl's-night-out.

Rectangular pillows of black, gold and aqua Amazonite cushion Amazonite roundels while a playful waterfall of sparkly, faceted Pyrite onion briolettes and and yet more bright aqua, faceted Amazonite briolettes finish off this long, Y style sterling silver necklace.

~INFO AT-A-GLANCE~
? Name: Amazon Queen
? Type: necklace (lobster clasp)
? Materials: Amazonite, Pyrite, sterling silver
? Length: 21.5" (54.6cm)
Length & width of dangle section: 3" x 7.5" (7.6cm x 19cm)
? Matching Earrings: https://www.etsy.com/listing/261031857/aqua-amazonite-pyrite-and-sterling

This necklace is dripping in Amazonite gemstones and shows just how variable a specimen this stone can be. Hues of aqua blue, gold, white and black found in the rectangular beads are a perfect foil for the shimmery, pure aqua of the roundels and brios. Pyrite is often found accompanying Amazonite which is why I chose it to cast its golden tones against the aqua beads. I love anything that sparkles and I love movement so I thought the little waterfall was a whimsical way to finish this piece. The little sterling silver daisy bead caps add to that playful feeling.

The bright colors of the blue beads and contrast of the Pyrite definitely make a statement but do so without being overpowering. The movement at the end of the Y catches the light and the eye. Aqua can act as a neutral as it goes really well with a lot of different color palettes. Because there are a lot of different elements, I feel this necklace goes best against simple tops like solid-colored boat-neck sweaters or close-fitting blouses. It definitely encourages you to play too though so perhaps a flirty skirt or skinnies with high heeled knee boots can come to the party.

Inspired by the communicator pins worn on Star Trek, these fun, dangly, antiqued brass post earrings feature some lovely satin-finish, opaque Czech glass beads in a pretty teal green and hexagon-shaped, hand-cut brass connectors.

~INFO AT-A-GLANCE~
? Name: Enterprise
? Type: earrings (butterfly posts)
? Materials: Czech Glass Beads, brass, tigertail
? Length: 2.25" (5.7cm)

Given a satin finish, the facets of the glass beads shimmer softly whenever light hits. The bright teal green color of the glass is a nice counterpart to the deeper golden color of the patina-ed brass and tigertail beading wire. The triangular shape of the wire is inspired by the pins the characters on Star Trek used for communication. I used the hexagonal brass findings, hand-cut by a fellow Etsy Seller and allowed to darken naturally, because I felt they complimented the shape of the glass beads.

Light and playful, these earrings have lots of swing. The golden tones of the antiqued brass elements helps to warm up the face and the movements of the glass beads as they twirl on the threads of wire create a touch of whimsy. They would look wonderful paired against earthy hues and various shades of green, from lime to a deeper teal. They are sure to become an every day favorite!

The last photo shows the earrings on a life-sized facial print to give you an idea of their size when worn.

Shimmery aqua Amazonite and sparkly, faceted, golden Pyrite roundels dangle at the end of these flirty sterling silver chain earrings.

~INFO AT-A-GLANCE~
? Name: Amazon Queen
? Type: earrings (butterfly posts)
? Materials: Amazonite, Pyrite, sterling silver
? Length: 2.25" (7cm)
Shorter dangle: 1.75" (4.4cm)
? Matching Necklace: https://www.etsy.com/listing/261114652/aqua-amazonite-pyrite-and-sterling

These simple, long earrings are a great compliment to the more complex necklace. Feminine and flirtatious, they dance about with every move you make, catching the light in the facets of the stones. Sterling silver daisy bead caps add playful whimsy to the small Amazonite and Pyrite dangles. Sterling silver butterfly posts were used to keep the rolo chain up near the lobe.

These are light, deceptively delicate looking earrings. The small beads act as a pop of color against the lovely grey hues of the sterling chain. The clean lines and classic style of these earrings elongate the neck creating a swan-like effect. They definitely encourages you to play and would be perfect pieces for that special girls' night out.

The last photo shows the earrings on a life-sized facial print to give you an idea of their size when worn.

A huge, lightly shimmering aqua Amazonite pendant and sparkly faceted golden Pyrite roundels play with swirled, textured and oxidized sterling silver wire to create a whimsical, rustic necklace.

~INFO AT-A-GLANCE~
? Name: Angelique
? Type: necklace (toggle clasp)
? Materials: Amazonite, Pyrite, sterling silver, brass
? Length: 18" (45.7cm)
Length & width of swirled pendant: 2.25" x 2.25" (5.7cm x 5.7cm)

Ahhh Amazonite! My absolute favorite stone! Abundant in the world, locations determine the color and shiller of the stone. The little beauty standing front and center in this piece is from the Lac Saint-Jean region of Quebec and was mined, cut and polished by one of my fellow Gem Club lapidaries. It is a shining example of the quality that can be found there and a testament to the lapidary's skill as he cut the stone to show off the silk in the stone that catches the light creating a subtle shimmer.

I wanted this piece to be original and unique so I shaped and textured a swirl of sterling silver on either side of the stone. I then lightly oxidized the swirls to bring out the hammered strokes. To keep the Amazonite in place, I threaded some brass wire in and around the stone. I used brass as a compliment to the touches of golden yellow found on the stone which also led me to using Pyrite to further bring out those hues. The swirls so reminded me of angels' wings that I could name it nothing but Angelique...:)

Though there are delicate touches in this necklace, it still makes a statement with the large centerpiece and whimsical swirls. It isn't light or heavy but rather it sits nicely above your décolleté. It is a stone that likes to bask in your body heat and will warm up as you wear it. Aqua can act as a neutral as it goes beautifully with a lot of different palettes and it's definitely versatile enough to add interest to that power suit or a special ensemble for a special evening.

Unique, vintage bronze plates from tribal belts made by the Akha peoples, a hill tribe of Northern Thailand, paired with diamond shaped, faceted Citrines make for an unusual one-of-a-kind Y style necklace.

~INFO AT-A-GLANCE~
? Name: Bronze Age
? Type: necklace (lobster clasp)
? Materials: Citrine, bronze plates, sterling silver
? Length: 18" (45.7cm)
Length of dangle section: 3.25" (8.3cm)

I came across the three bronze plates by chance and I'm so happy I did! These little plates were made by the Akha peoples of Thailand as components used in their ceremonial costumes. They are definitely vintage, if not antique! The seller had them in her stash for more than 20 years and she is sure they were already quite old when she found them. They feature beautiful diamond geometric patterns which is what prompted me to go looking for diamond shaped beads. I chose Citrine because of the golden undertones in the bronze and wire-wrapped them as an ode to the striped edges of the plates. Because I wanted the bronze color to stand on its own, I used sterling silver chains and findings. The sterling also brings out the vibrant yellow in the crystal clear Citrines. A small sterling silver lobster clasp keeps the necklace in place and secure.

Bronze can be heavy sometimes but keeping the design minimal helped alleviate the weight making this necklace very comfortable to wear. The dominant colors are quite neutral and can be worn with just about any hue. The bright golden Citrines add a tiny pop of color and light as they sway and spin when you shift. The rustic nature of the plates makes for a more casual necklace but the high quality of the faceted Citrines also brings a measure of sophistication to the piece.

Lime and olive green Peridot gemstone beads give these long, delicate, dangling sterling silver earrings sparkle and color. Small though they may be, the bright stones live large! For Astrology and Zodiac lovers, Peridot is one of the gems that reigns over August.

Matching Bracelet: https://www.etsy.com/listing/260549253/lime-and-olive-green-peridot-and

I wanted to stay in keeping with the more contemporary and minimal lines of the matching necklace but I also wanted to make something that swings playfully. The almond shaped sterling silver ear wires were a lovely choice to dangle the short strand of gorgeous Peridot organic gemstone beads. There is so much light reflected in these softly tumbled stones! Hues of lime to olive green with translucence show how high quality the beads are.

Delicate in style and lightweight, these earrings still call attention as they sparkle with the slightest turn of the head. Pair them up with bright pinks and fuchsia, deep blues, forest greens and neutral tones for a touch of playful elegance. They are light enough to wear everyday without weighing down the earlobes.

Lime and olive green Peridot briolettes give this elegant beaded sterling silver bracelet fire and shine. Small though they may be, the bright stones live large! For lovers of Astrology and the Zodiac, Peridot is one of the gems that reigns over August.

~INFO AT-A-GLANCE~
? Name: Green Day
? Type: bracelet (toggle clasp)
? Materials: Peridot, sterling silver
? Length: 8.25" (20.9cm)
Length & width of dangle section: 2.75" x 0.5" (6.9cm x 1.3cm)

Matching Earrings: https://www.etsy.com/listing/260653598/lime-and-olive-green-peridot-and

I created six strands of gorgeous, vibrant lime to olive green organic Peridot briolettes with sterling silver as a neutral foil for this lively bracelet. The strands are approximately the same length as those used in the matching little necklace. They dance and play on the wrist, catching a ton of light. They certainly invite peoples' regard, often engendering a request for a closer look. The simple sterling silver toggle clasp is easy to use and its design allows the gemstones to take the lime-light.

Lightweight and elegant, this bracelet is an attention seeker, sparkling with vibrant color at every flick of the wrist. Foiled against colors such as bright pinks and fuchsia, deep blues, forest greens and neutral tones bring out the golden highlights shining in the translucent gems.

The mannequin's wrist measures 5.75" (14.6cm) at the wrist-bone. Should your own wrist at the wrist-bone be around the same measurements, the bracelet should fall in the same area. I can adjust the bracelet if you have need.

Lime and olive green organic Peridot beads shine brightly against sterling silver in this small cluster necklace. Small though it may be, the gemstone beads live large! For those who love Astrology, the Zodiac and their associated gemstones, Peridot is one of the gems that rules over August.

~INFO AT-A-GLANCE~
? Name: Green Day
? Type: necklace (toggle clasp)
? Materials: Peridot, sterling silver
? Length: 23" (58.4cm)
Length & width of dangle section: 1.5" x 1" (3.8cm x 2.5cm)

Matching Bracelet: https://www.etsy.com/listing/260549253/lime-and-olive-green-peridot-and

Six short strands of stunning, bright olive and lime green Peridot briolettes make up this small but impactful necklace. Deceptively simple, the construction of the piece was a small feat of engineering! The Peridot gemstones were tumbled to acquire their softly rounded, variable shapes. They are high quality gems, translucent with a high polish. They remind me of delicious candy, attracting the eye with their sparkle. The Peridots are so beautiful that I didn't want to create a setting that would compete with them. I chose sterling silver for its soft neutrality and closed off the piece with a simple, elegant toggle. To reflect the fire caught in the stones, I used mirrored bugle beads between them.

Lightweight and fun, the beads spin and shift. They are definitely attention seekers, sparkling with even the slightest of movements. I love to pair this piece with bright pinks and fuchsia, deep blues, forest greens and neutral tones. It's an excellent everyday necklace with clean, contemporary lines.

I can shorten the necklace at no extra cost should you prefer it to sit closer to the collarbone.
