I've whip stitched a small flag to its wooden flagpole, then added a bit of grubby gauze, a rusty bell & pin, and a fabric tag stamped with "Olde Glory." The actual flag is about 4" x 6". The wood flag pole is about 10.5" tall. The bottle is NOT included, sorry.

? The flag in the picture is a sample. The actual flag you will receive is as identical as handmade items can be. The grunging is different on each flag, of course, and the tags may be stamped a bit lighter or darker. Contact me thru Etsy if you'd like to see photos of the actual flag you will receive!

You can give these primitive flags to your dolls & bears, tuck them into crocks or use them as plant pokes.

These flags were made in my smoke-free and pet-free home studio in Northern California.

These flags will be shipped in a small box. If they arrive a bit curled, you can press them gently with a steam iron for a few seconds to smooth them out again.

I've made this primitive pumpkin from cotton fabric. It's made with several pieces of fabric sewn together, then stuffed and painted ... and grunged, of course! This pumpkin is stuffed mostly with polyfil, with just a bit of "rag stuffing" (fabric scraps) in the center for a bit of weight. I've painted this pumpkin dark orange and grunged it with coffee, vanilla, and cinnamon. The stem is a piece of tree branch and I've added a bit of grubby gauze around the stem and also a tag I made featuring a copy of an antique Halloween postcard; this is removable, if desired.

This primitive pumpkin is 5" wide and 6.5" tall. You will receive the same pumpkin as shown in the photos! You will love using using this pumpkin in your Autumn, Halloween or Thanksgiving decor for many years to come!

This pumpkin is my original design.

NOTE TO INTERNATIONAL SHOPPERS: My apologies, but this item cannot be shipped internationally due to the real stick used for the stem.

This strawberry is made from vintage blue & white ticking and a scrap of olive green wool Army blanket. This ticking strawberry measures about 6.5" wide near the top and 8" long not including the twig stem. This berry is stuffed with fiberfill and has been grunged with coffee & vanilla.

Oversized and so much fun for your Summer or Americana decor! Display several of these strawberries in an antique crock or bowl.

Sorry, but this item is not available for international shipping due to the twig stem.

This primitive rabbit doll is made from osnaburg, a rustic cotton fabric. She measures 17" with her ears bent slightly, as shown in the photos. She is stuffed with fiberfill and has a flat "paper bag" bottom. Her body is stained VERY dark with coffee & vanilla. Her ears are wired to make them bendable. Her eyes, nose & mouth are embroidered with black floss, and she has sisal whiskers.

She wears a red, white & blue striped cotton dress; the sleeves can be worn rolled up or longer, whichever you prefer! Atop the dress, she is wearing a grungy gauze overskirt, and a muslin apron printed with a bit of vintage advertising; all of her clothes have also been grunged with coffee & vanilla. Tucked into the vintage cotton string holding her overskirt & apron in place is a handmade paper mache carrot with raffia greens (the greens can be trimmed if you'd prefer less of a "wild" look).

This rustic rabbit was made in my smoke-free and pet-free home studio in Northern California. She will arrive signed & dated by me.

Due to the wire in the ears, this doll is not suitable for young children.

To ensure safe travels, this rabbit will travel in a shipping box. I apologize for the postage, but USPS has gotten totally out of control. If there's more than $1 difference between the actual postage + shipping box and what you pay for postage, I'll happily refund the difference! (This is more likely to be the case if you live west of the Mississippi River.)

Please meet Acacia. She is a BIGGGG doll ... with her hat & shoes on, she's about 47" tall!

Made from vintage fabric (I think linen) which has been severely grunged, Acacia's head & torso are stuffed with a mix of fabric scraps (known as "rag stuffing") and fiberfill. Her arms & legs are stuffed with fiberfill.

Acacia's eyes are embroidered, her nose is pinch stitched, and her mouth is a piece of rusty wire.

I've used a reproduction Civil War calico fabric for the dress bodice and black and taupe homespun for the skirt. Since Acacia has a bit of a wild side, she has chosen to wear orange print bloomers under her dress!

Her hat & shoes are made from black-painted cotton fabric and her scrunched down striped stockings are made from a vintage t-shirt! Her shoes have 2 mismatched vintage (maybe antique) buttons on each shoe. Acaia's hat is held on with a vintage corsage pin serving as a hat pin (her hat will probably need to be removed for traveling). Her shoes have a couple of stitches to hold them on; these would be easy to remove if you'd like to do so!

The "spell bag" hanging from Acacia's neck is made from an almost-vintage (late 1990s) mustard gold fabric with black stars woven into the design. I stamped a "Spells" tag and stitched it to the front of the bag. Inside the bag, you'll find a few ingredients for Stone Soup (because that is some real magic!).

Acacia will arrive with her "familiar," a black crow which goes by the name of Hilda. Hilda is left over from another project, where she resided on a stick and, because of this, there is an opening on her base/bottom; there's no way to sew up painted fabric, so I wanted to let you know ahead of time. Hilda has an embroidered eye on each side of her head and a rusty bell around her neck. She is 12-1/2" long.

Due to the rusty wire, buttons, and hat pin, Acacia is not suitable for young children. Acacia & Hilda prefer to reside indoors.

Both Acacia & Hilda are signed & dated and look forward to becoming a part of your American folk art collection!

These primitive hearts are made from scraps of antique coverlet which date back to the 1800s!

The colors are faded red (which now appears salmon pink), very dark brown (this may have originally been black, I'm not sure), and ecru. The back of each heart is a Civil War reproduction cotton fabric, shown in the last image. Both hearts are made from the same coverlet and measure about 3" at the widest and almost 4" tall. They're stuffed with fiberfill stuffing.

These small hearts have been grunged with coffee & vanilla to make them a bit darker and older looking.

? If you'd like a twine hanger added to your hearts, please add that option at checkout!

These hearts were made in my smoke-free and pet-free home studio in Northern California.

This small pillow measures about 8.5" by 8.5". It's made from a scrap of antique coverlet which was hand woven in the mid-1800s! This coverlet lived a long and useful life before being upcycled into your new pillow! The fiber content of the coverlet is most likely wool and linen, and the colors are a very dark navy blue & ecru. The back of this pillow is vintage (maybe even antique!) striped feather ticking with red & blue stripes on an ecru background, as shown in the 2nd photo.

I am listing 2 pillows made with the same combination of fabrics!

This pillow has been grunged with coffee & vanilla to make it darker and older looking. You will love it as a charming accent for your primitive home or toss it on your porch swing!

Cleaning isn't recommended as it would remove the coffee stain! However, if you don't mind that (or don't mind re-staining the pillow), you can hand wash this pillow as needed.
