This pillow is made from antique coverlet which was woven by hand in the 1800s. The coverlet lived a long and useful life before being upcycled into your new pillow! The colors are mostly navy blue and winter white (slightly off-white but not quite what I'd call ecru), and light tan. I think the coverlet is wool & cotton (or maybe linen ... or maybe wool, cotton and linen!). The back of this pillow is vintage, or maybe even antique, blue & white striped feather ticking; it was salvaged from a featherbed purchased years ago at a farm auction!

Multi-color coverlets are becoming harder to find. The coverlet piece used for this pillow is in very good condition, with no significant wear or damage. There is a little "nubby" to the right of the center medallion. I'm not sure what this is ... but I wouldn't recommend cutting it off as that could cause a hole!

This pillow measures 13-3/4" long and 7" high; it has NOT been grunged!

You will love this pillow as a charming accent in your farmhouse, cottage, or cabin!

Made by me in my smoke-free and pet-free home studio in Northern California!

This rustic heart pillow is made from antique coverlet which was beyond repair. I rescue the best parts of these worn textiles and give them a new life as pillows and other home decor!

This heart pillow measures 8-1/4" at the widest and 10-3/4" at the longest. New blue & ecru cotton homespun fabric was used on the back.

The antique coverlet used for this pillow was woven by hand in the 1800s and shows wear appropriate for its age.

This pillow is firmly stuffed with fiberfill, and has been grunged with coffee & vanilla for an older look. Laundering this pillow is not recommended, as that would remove some/most of the coffee grunge.

This pillow was made by me in my smoke-free and pet-free home studio in Northern California.

NOTE: If you're considering other items in my shop, most of the smaller items (hearts, ornaments, etc.) will only add $.25 to $.50 additional postage when shipped with this item within the U.S.

This rustic witch hat is made from cotton fabric. It's painted & grunged for that olde & early look we all love! There's a bit of fiberfill in the base to give the hat some body and I've added a doubled piece of wire up the center to keep the hat upright; this wire also makes the hat "poseable" if you'd like to scrunch it a bit!

This witch hat measures 10" wide and 15" tall, and comes with the grungy tie and hangtag, as shown.

This witch hat is my original design and is signed & dated by me.

Due to the aging process, there may be slight worn areas (even very small holes) in the hat ... but they just make the hat look older!

Domestic shipping is shown for destinations in the Midwest and Eastern part of the United States. If you're west of the Mississippi River, postage may be less. I will refund overpaid shipping when it is more than $1. You're welcome to contact me to check on postage prior to purchase!

This primitive pumpkin doll is made from cotton fabric and would be 23" tall in a standing position; when seated, as in the pictures, he's 16" tall.

His body is cotton fabric which I've painted black and antiqued; this is quite a process in itself! He's stuffed with "rag stuffing" (leftover fabric scraps) in his torso and fiberfill in his head, arms, and legs. The rag stuffing gives him a solid, heavy, perhaps even "antique" feel since his body is NOT squishy!

His eyes are antique buttons atop bits of new wool fabric; he has an antique square nail for a nose and a small twig for a mouth.

Dressing the dolls is one of my favorite parts of doll making! This fella wears black & ecru striped denim pants, held up with a jute belt (and a few hidden stitches) and a black & ecru homespun shirt held closed with rusty safety pins. He also sports a grubby gauze scarf to ward off the autumn breeze. His clothes, as well as his body, have been grunged with coffee, but that's not so visible on the dark fabrics.

This primitive doll was created by me in my smoke-free and pet-free home studio in Northern California, and is intended to be a decorative collectible for your home. He is signed & dated on the back of his head.

NOTE: Shipping for this fella is set for the East Coast, however it may be less if his new home is West of the Mississippi River. Overpaid shipping exceeding $2 will be refunded. This listing is for the doll only; the other items shown in the photos are not included. I made 6 of these dolls, as shown in the last photo; this is likely all of this style of doll for this year but you may inquire as to the availability of the other dolls in the picture (they will get listed as time permits!).

I've whip stitched a small flag to its wooden flagpole, then added a bit of grubby gauze, a rusty bell & pin, and a fabric tag stamped with "America." The actual flag is about 4" x 6". The wood flag pole is about 10.5" tall. The bottle is NOT included, sorry.

?The flag in the pictures has been sold. The one you receive will be very similar but the grunge, in particular, turns out a bit different on each flag; also, the stamped tags may be lighter or darker.

You can give these primitive flags to your dolls & bears, tuck them into crocks or use them as plant pokes. They'd also look great tucked in your Christmas tree or in the top of a Christmas stocking!

These flags were made in my smoke-free and pet-free home studio in Sacramento, California.

These flags will be shipped in a small box. If they arrive a bit curled, you can press them gently with a steam iron for a few seconds to smooth them out again.

This large pillow is 18" long and a bit over 9" wide. I was sorting thru my scrap basket and found some small pieces of antique coverlet and vintage ticking that were too small to make anything with, so I decided to piece them together as a border for this pillow!

The back of this pillow is new blue & white checked (plaid) fabric, as shown in the last photo. This pillow is firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill, and has been grunged with coffee & vanilla for an older look.

Due to the coffee staining, I would recommend NOT washing this pillow, as that would remove some of the grunge and you'd likely end up with a splotchy pillow!

This pillow was made in my smoke-free and pet-free home studio in Northern California.

NOTE: Postage may be less to destinations west of the Mississippi River. Overpaid postage exceeding $1 will be refunded!

These 3 vintage doilies were hand crocheted, probably in the middle of the 20th century (1950 or earlier).

They are being sold AS IS! They each have their own issues, from broken threads to stains to being out of shape, etc.

The BASKET doily is 13-1/2" long and about 7-1/2" wide. It's definitely wider at the bottom but that seems to be due to stretching; I think it could be blocked into shape so it's 7-1/2" wide at both ends! I don't see any damage or stains on this piece.

The BIRDS doily is 18-1/2" long and 5" wide. There's a damaged area above the back of the left bird and also on the right edge. This doily also has scattered light stains.

The FLORAL doily is 15-1/2" long and 5-1/4" wide. It is an ecru or tan color; I think this is the thread color, but it's possible it aged to this color! At any rate, the color hides the stains well ... but I still see a few anyway.

These doilies are still usable for craft projects, mixed media, scrapbooking, and more; I've even seen jewelry and stained glass and pottery made with bits of antique doilies!

These 3 vintage doilies have lived in my smoke-free and pet-free home for several years, but of course I don't know their full history.

This primitive pumpkin doll is made from cotton fabric. She is 20" tall from the tip of her real stick stem to her toes!

She is stuffed with fiberfill and I've painted her body dark orange then antiqued it with my coffee & vanilla blend. Her eyes are antique shoe buttons, her nose is a rusty square nail and she has a stitched mouth.

Her dress has a black homespun bodice and black Civil War reproduction calico skirt. Beneath her dress, she's wearing muslin bloomers. Her clothes have been grunged with coffee, but that's not so visible on the dark fabrics. I've printed an image of an antique pumpkin seed packet and hand stitched it to the bodice of her dress.

This primitive doll is intended to be a decorative collectible for your home.

Created in my smoke-free and pet-free home studio in Northern California.

Sorry, but this item is not available for international shipping due to the twig stem.

? Vintage (or maybe antique) graniteware pie pan
? 1940s manufacture date is estimated; could be even older (and I seriously doubt it's any newer)
? 10" wide (edge to edge) across the top
? Bottom is 8" wide
? Great for your farmhouse kitchen decor
? From my smoke-free & pet-free home!

This vintage graniteware pie plate is grey mottled metal. It was probably manufactured no later than the 1940s, and could be much older. It has been in my collection for more than 20 years.

SHIPPING: Shipping weight will be 2 pounds. Postage may be less to destinations west of the Mississippi River. Provide your zip code or country for more accurate postage, if desired. Overpaid postage will be refunded!

This primitive sampler looks soooo old! I've stitched "Earth laughs in flowers" on rustic cotton fabric (osnaburg). The colors I used are burgundy, dark green, and mustard gold. The simple naive style, along with the staining, makes this sampler look as if it were made by a young girl more than 150 years ago!

All of my primitive stitching is done freehand. I don't use a pattern and am literally writing on fabric with thread, which insures that each of my primitive samplers will be 100% one-of-a-kind!

This primitive sampler measures 7" tall and 4" wide. It is being offered as shown, unframed. You can tack it to the wall just the way it is (tiny black upholstery tacks look really nice with my primitive samplers!) or sew it into a small pillow, wall hanging, or other project!
