Of course this applies only to out-of-warranty Apple units. Most ask, but AppleCare is already void upon liquid or physical damage.
Keep in mind we do component level logic board repairs for those liquid damaged units with corrosion forming. We have a solid success rate.
Been sending ton of warranty work off to Apple Support line. With @askrivercity and walk-in here. Hard drives are always main issue.
