This 16x20" Scituate Lighthouse architectural blueprint will add interest and history to any wall in your house. This print depicts a blueprint cross-section of the interior and exterior of Scituate Lighthouse in Scituate Harbor in Massachussetts. It was created using vintage public domain blueprints obtained from the Historic American Buildings Survey.

The Scituate Lighthouse was built in 1810 and first lit in 1811. It was the 11th lighthouse built in the United States. It was discontinued in 1860 when Minot's Ledge was built. In the early 1900s the town of Scituate purchased the lighthouse to save it from going to auction, and built a new lantern room atop the lighthouse to keep it looking nice and well-kept.

In 1994 Scituate Lighthouse was lit again for the first time in 134 years and is the pride and joy of the town of Scituate.

All prints are printed on high quality archival Epson matte paper using Epson K3 inks. This ink and paper combination creates a beautiful finish and has lightfastness ratings of up to 75 years for color prints and over 200 years for black-and-white prints, ensuring a beautiful print for years to come.

This listing is for a 16x20" print. To purchase a smaller print (sizes 8x10" through 12x16") please see this listing: https://www.etsy.com/listing/480642368/scituate-lighthouse-blueprint-art?ref=shop_home_active_1

*"Scarlet Blvd" Watermark will NOT appear on your print.

***Please note, purchasing different pieces will not always result in a matching background. Each background is individually created based on the product line. Almost everything will be very close, but with each background being created for each print, no two are exactly alike. Due to color differences between monitors, color of your print/painting may be slightly different (darker/lighter/different tone/etc...) than what you see on your screen.
